Never thought that was possible, clearly poor quality metal. Probably old mountain dew can or somehting. Also the tip wasn't quiet pointy enough to get down into the screws well enough. I've used it to repair the Wii nunchuks that my son broke the buttons on, and it worked perfectly. I see no reason I won't get good life out of it. Hold it in the screw firmly, go slow, then go to the hardware store and replace those stupid triwings with phillips head screws. This screwdriver works great for removing the outer screws on the controller, but a regular small phillips is needed to fully access the L and R buttons from the inside. It doesn't appear that it will last very long, but for short term , infrequent use...it will serve the purpose. |
